Recette Homemade Tomato Juice

Ingredients
- 250 mL (1 cup) Savoura La Cerise cherry tomatoes, finely diced
- 30 mL (2 tbsp) extra virgin olive oil
- 60 mL (1/4 cup) fresh basil, finely chopped
- 5 mL (1 tsp) finely minced garlic
- 5 mL (1 tsp) balsamic vinegar (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 500 mL (2 cups) baguette or country-style bread, sliced and toasted
Preparation
- In a bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Let it sit for a few minutes to allow the flavours to develop.
- Spoon the mixture generously over the toasted bread slices.
- Finish with a drizzle of olive oil and a touch of balsamic vinegar, if desired.
- Serve immediately while the bread is still warm.
