Ingredients
- 2 large SAVOURA BIO organic Carpaccio tomatoes
- 1 ball of fresh mozzarella
- 1 large handful of fresh basil
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Cracked black pepper, to taste
- Bamboo skewers to hold it together (optional)
Preparation
- Slice the Carpaccio tomatoes horizontally and the mozzarella into thick slices.
- On the base of a tomato half, stack a slice of mozzarella and a few basil leaves, and top with another tomato slice.
- Secure with a bamboo skewer if desired for stability.
- Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, then season with salt and cracked black pepper.
- Serve immediately, well chilled.
