Ingrédients
- 1 store-bought pizza dough (300 to 400 g)
- 120 ml (½ cup) prepared tomato sauce
- 150 ml (2 cups) shredded cheese (mozzarella or Italian blend)
- 150 ml (1 cup) Savoura cocktail tomatoes, halved (or more, to taste)
- 10 ml (2 tsp) fresh basil, finely chopped
- 5 ml (1 tsp) dried oregano or Herbes de Provence
- 5 ml (1 tsp) balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil
Préparation
- Preheat the oven to 230°C (450°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss the cocktail tomatoes with 5 ml (1 tsp) olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Roast for 10 minutes to intensify their sweet, juicy, and lightly caramelized flavour, creating a visually appealing topping that excites the senses.
- Meanwhile, roll out the pizza dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza pan. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, sprinkle with shredded cheese (such as mozzarella, Italian blend, or your favourite), then top with the roasted cocktail tomatoes and optional additional toppings for customization.
- Sprinkle with dried oregano or Herbes de Provence and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil, drizzle with olive oil and serve immediately.
